TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The terms and conditions herein apply to catalog price lists for the year 2021.

Prices in this catalog are effective for orders received by Crane Aerospace & Electronics (ELDEC, ELDEC France, HYDRO-AIRE, LEAR ROMEC and P.L. PORTER) on or after January 1, 2020, and remain in effect until December 31, 2020. Orders placed between October 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019, for shipment between January 1, 2020 and January 15, 2020, will receive 2019 prices. Orders requesting extended deliveries beyond quoted lead times are subject to price adjustments.

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars, and in Euros for ELDEC France products.

Product shipment terms are "FOB Origin" for domestic shipments and "EXW Supplier Plant" (INCOTERMS 2010) for international shipments unless otherwise agreed in writing by Seller.

Prices DO NOT include or cover costs that may be added or imposed by the government or regulatory agencies of the importing country.

Prices DO NOT include the value added tax (VAT) or any other tax that may be applicable.

All prices quoted apply to spares or component orders manufactured under Crane Aerospace & Electronics standard processes.

Prices for spares and standard parts include a certification as part of the packing sheet.

Prices include packing/packaging consistent with ATA No. 300 guidelines. Special packaging requirements may require an additional charge.

The minimum acceptable order value is $250.00 per Purchase Order.

Payment terms of net 30 days from date of shipment are available upon approved credit for domestic (U.S.) and international sales. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% per month Finance Charge.

All contracts and shipments are subject to the approval and licensing requirements of the U.S. Government.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics reserves the right to make immediate corrections to the prices contained herein due to inadvertent errors.

Parts Obsolescence: Spares prices in this catalog are offered contingent upon availability. It is possible that components and subassembly parts may become obsolete, requiring the identification of a substitution or redesign of the next-higher Crane Aerospace & Electronics assembly. Quoted prices and schedules may be impacted.

Part Substitution/Interchangeability

Crane Aerospace & Electronics may on occasion substitute a part ordered by you and advise you accordingly. This part will correspond to the product configuration and will be completely interchangeable with the part you ordered.

 

REORDER LEAD TIME

Reorder lead time and Crane Aerospace & Electronics-committed shipping schedules obtained by quotation represent the time from receipt of a purchase order by Crane Aerospace & Electronics until parts are ready for shipment. Additional flow time caused by customer instructions for weight or time accumulation, special routing, and so forth, is not included but should be considered when customers establish internal inventory plans. When your purchase order is submitted and we find that our stock is exhausted, you will be advised a shipping schedule and a revised price, if applicable.

 

EXPEDITE PRIORITIES

Crane Aerospace & Electronics recognizes that, on occasion, a customer will require parts in less than normal reorder lead time. In response to this need, we have established the following priorities for processing expedite requirements.

Airlines must identify the fuselage or aircraft number, the model, and the flying time on the Crane Aerospace & Electronics part(s).

AOG ­ Scheduled commercial revenue-bearing aircraft flight grounded by part or part requirement (no spares available). The criteria for claiming an AOG shall be as defined in ATA Specification 2000.

CRITICAL ­ Imminent AOG or shop work stoppage; parts required by (give date).

EXPEDITE ­ Part required in less than normal lead time.

To ensure the correct priority is assigned, we request you use the exact terminology as defined above.

“Expedite Priorities” may be subject to an Expedite Fee of $500.00.

 

STANDARD RETURN POLICY

Crane Aerospace & Electronics 30-day return policy applies to all spare parts shipped from Crane Aerospace & Electronics that conform or do not conform to the Customer’s purchase order. Customers must first contact their Crane Aerospace & Electronics customer service representative to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Such RMA must be obtained within 30 days from the purchase invoice date for credit or exchange.

All returned items must be in new condition, shipped back in original packaging and with original certificate of conformance and airworthiness certificates originally shipped with the unit.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics reserves the right to refuse any returned parts that:

   a) do not have a Return Material Authorization (RMA)

   b) do not include all original packaging and documentation

   c) are received after 30 days from original invoice date
   d) are not in new condition.

 

Restocking Fee

Items returned due to customer’s ordering error or convenience (if approved by Crane Aerospace & Electronics) are subject to a 20% restock fee.

CANCELLATION PROCESS

Cancellation requests must be submitted prior to shipment. Approval for a requested cancellation must be confirmed in writing by Crane Aerospace & Electronics to be valid. Full or partial payment penalties may be required.

CREDIT POLICY

Prices quoted in this catalog assume good customer credit standing based on 30 days payment terms.

To be reviewed for approval for net 30 days payment terms, customers must fill out a credit application. 

For credit terms greater than $5,000.00, customers must provide current financial statements. Financial statements are subject to an annual review.

Where Crane Aerospace & Electronics cannot extend net 30 days credit terms, we offer alternative methods of payment such as Cash with Order (CWO), Cash In Advance (CIA), credit cards from American Express, MasterCard or Visa, and Letter of Credit for amounts in excess of $5,000.00.
