Our Brands

Crane Aerospace was formed in 1999 with the merging of ELDEC, Lear Romec, Hydro-Aire and Interpoint  long-time industry leaders with experience dating back to 1943. The newly-formed organization offered customers and partners one source for sensing, power, fuel and braking systems and the expertise these industry pioneers had between them.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics was formed in 2003 when Signal Technology and its well-known Keltec brand were added to Crane Aerospace. P.L. Porter's portfolio of seat actuation products were added a year later, and in 2010 Merrimac Industries brought to Crane A&E its unique Multi-Mix technology — an innovative process for fusing multilayer integrated circuits and micro-multifunction modules.

Each brand that makes up Crane Aerospace & Electronics is proven in the marketplace, recognized globally and maintains a large share in the markets they serve. When you partner with Crane A&E, you join our rich heritage of experience, product leadership and operational excellence.
