Faina Zaslavsky Appointed Director, Microelectronics Solutions for Crane 
 

REDMOND, Wash. – January 22, 2008 –Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced the appointment of Faina Zaslavsky as Director of Microelectronics Solutions. In this capacity, Zaslavsky will be responsible for new business development, strategic planning, management of business relationships with key customers, as well as Microelectronics Solutions profit and loss. Zaslavsky will be located at the Redmond, Washington site with the headquarters of the Electronics Group of Crane Aerospace & Electronics. Microelectronics Solutions specialize in miniaturizing high reliability electronic circuits to reduce size and minimize weight. These microcircuits are used in the space, aerospace, military, medical, industrial and commercial applications.

 

Zaslavsky joined Crane in 1991 as Senior Process Engineer. Prior to that, she worked as Principal Engineer at Westmark International on the design and implementation of ultrasound diagnostic devices. Zaslavsky holds a Master of Science Degree in Polymer Science from St. Petersburg’s Institute of Technology and a second Master of Science Degree in Technical Information and Bibliography from Krupskaya Institute of St. Petersburg.
