Jason Chen appointed Site Leader of Crane's Kaohsiung, Taiwan Site
 

Lynnwood, Wash. – July 30, 2007 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), announces the appointment of Jason Chen as Site Leader of its Kaohsiung, Taiwan site. In this capacity, Chen will be responsible for manufacturing operations as well as site leadership, quality, operational excellence and strategic deployment at the Kaohsiung site. The Kaohsiung site manufactures microelectronics and power conversion products for aerospace, defense and medical applications.

Prior to joining Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Chen was the Chief Officer of Production for Chen Hsong Holdings, Ltd in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. His background includes leading companies in implementing the Toyota Lean Production System (TPS), as well as extensive knowledge and experience in quality control tools such as FMEA and Six Sigma.

Chen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Taiwan Institute of Technology, a Master of Science degree in Business Management from the International University at San Diego, and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
