LYNNWOOD, Wash. – April 10, 2006 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics announced
a major contract with B/E Aerospace, Inc., the world’s leading
manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products, for its P.L. Porter
brand Power Seat Actuation Systems.
The contract addresses development and production of iMotionTM systems,
Porter’s latest actuation systems, for five of B/E’s major international
customers. The contract value is in excess of $40 million and spans
three years of production. Several new electronic and passenger comfort
innovations are being developed for the various programs.
