Creative Engineering

Lear Romec’s flexible approach to solving difficult design problems stems from a formidable combination of engineering talent, advanced design techniques and years of exploring the capabilities and limitations of known pumping concepts.

Organized into product line groups, our project engineers work closely with our customers, in-house logistics support personnel and manufacturing engineering to develop an integrated design database. This concurrent engineering approach ensures the final product is manufactured and can be maintained to the same high standards with which it was designed.

Basic research and product development is institutionalized at Lear Romec. In many instances this has led to patented state-of–the-art breakthroughs, but in all cases it results in a creative and sound engineering approach to our customer’s needs.

Manufacturing

Lear Romec’s operational capabilities are best described as the successful merging of old-fashioned craftsmanship and technical innovation. In developing our production facility, we combined the latest manufacturing technology with know-how gleaned from years of experience in the production of precision equipment.

Modern approaches to metal working such as computer-controlled machining centers, special purpose contour and high capacity grinding machines have replaced a variety of more conventional machine tool operations. These machines produce product quickly, with extreme accuracy and proven repeatability.

Support Services

Lear Romec is represented by an engineering-oriented sales force who are completely familiar with our products and their applications. This sales force is supported by a professional Product Support organization that is geared to respond quickly to customer needs. All support efforts are aimed at the ultimate user of our products. Where a customer-oriented maintenance program is not practical, we offer the services of our FAA/JAA certified repair station.

Consideration of your operational needs is an essential part of our design effort. Long before a product is released to production, maintainability, reliability, provisioning and technical publication specialists have analyzed the design and prepared a logistics plan which, throughout the life of the program, is updated and refined.
