Modernizations and Upgrades

By focusing on safety and cost of ownership, the Aerospace Modernizations and Upgrades group can work with individual customers to develop and implement cost effective solutions. Our retrofit programs are designed to improve reliability and increase commonality of equipment fleet-wide at lower cost (payback achieved under one year, dependent on program and fleet).

Current M&U Products

	ELDEC builds the aerospace industry’s only all-metal proximity switches and sensors that have been proven over time to survive under virtually any condition.
	Advanced Battery Charger Upgrade (part number 8-930) for the Boeing 737-600/700/800/900, 747-400, 757 and 767 aircraft. It is a form, fit and function replacement for the existing ELDEC battery chargers on these airplanes.
	Blue Sky Battery Charger (part number 81-025) gives you the performance and reliability proven in ELDEC’s extensive line of battery chargers in a new, small light weight package. The charger is fully programmable and can be configured for use with any 24V NiCd or Valve-Regulated Lead Acid batteries in use on today’s aircraft.
