David Bender
President,
Crane Aerospace & Electronics Group
David Bender was named President of Crane Aerospace & Electronics in July, 2011. As president of the segment,
Bender is responsible for product and service solutions,
including cabin, fluid management, landing, power, microwave, microelectronics
and sensing. He is located in Redmond, Washington.
Before joining Crane, Bender served at Aerojet General Corporation, a division
of GenCorp, where his most recent role was Vice President of Operations. Prior
to that, he worked in various roles, including assignments in engineering,
defense and armaments, automotive, manufacturing, business development and
quality. He also has experience in functional leadership and implementation of
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Operational Excellence at all of the major
locations within GenCorp.
Bender graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Masters degree in
Management from Claremont University.
